New England Development announced today that construction work will be in full swing this month on the Outlets of Des Moines property in Altoona, Iowa. Opening in October 2017, Outlets of Des Moines will feature some of the best brand names in retail. Opens April 11

Spectators Sports Bar and Grill has announced its grand opening celebration will be held on April 11. The venue, which seats approximately 300 guests, has over 100 viewing screens including a 220″ projection screen on the main wall, a live feed sports ticker and has every sports package offered by DirecTV requiring over five and a half miles of audio-video cabling. Make-A-Wish Iowa’s Jolly Holiday Lights Moves to Adventureland

Jolly Holiday Lights will be open this fall from November 22 – January 1

Last December’s unseasonable weather had a disastrous effect on Make-A-Wish® Iowa’s largest fundraising event, Jolly Holiday Lights. Water Works Park, which was home to the event for twenty years was flooded, causing the charity to shutdown half-way through their event.
