Spectators Sports Bar and Grill has announced its grand opening celebration will be held on April 11. The venue, which seats approximately 300 guests, has over 100 viewing screens including a 220″ projection screen on the main wall, a live feed sports ticker and has every sports package offered by DirecTV requiring over five and a half miles of audio-video cabling. Last December’s unseasonable weather had a disastrous effect on Make-A-Wish® Iowa’s largest fundraising event, Jolly Holiday Lights. Water Works Park, which was home to the event for twenty years was flooded, causing the charity to shutdown half-way through their event. Altoona made the list at number 4 in Iowa, up from their rank of 21 in 2015.
